Olaf Quintessa got hooked on deep house after discovering labels like Paper Recordings and Toko in the late 90s, and from dancing away lots of Sunday afternoons at Lazy Dog in London. When it comes to house music, Olaf has one principle: “It’s gotta work on the imagination and take you somewhere, or else it’s gotta be so rump-shakingly funky that no imagination is necessary..!”. Favourite tune ever: “Don’t fuck with my shit”, Dirty Jesus (Paper Recordings). Now living in Wellington, New Zealand. |
